Itinerary

Day 1 : CHD – Dharamshala (238.6 km)

Pick-up from CHD Airport/Railway Station, Drive to Dharamshala, check in at the hotel to relax after the long journey. After that you can visit Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. It is one of the highest sports grounds in the world. Then visit the colorful Buddhist temples and colonial-churches that give Daramshala its identity. Spend the rest of the day exploring yhe local market to shop for some souvenirs. Overnight stay at the hotel at Dharamshala.

Day 2 : Dharamshala – Dalhousie

After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for Dalhousie. Travel through the scenic route which offers mesmerizing views of Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges. The hill station, near town of Chamba, in Chamba district. It is situated on five hills and has an elvation of 1,970 m (6,460 ft) above sea level. After that check in to your hotel to have some rest .This is the best place to enjoy your holidays in the lap of the nature.

Day 3 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar

After breakfast, proceed for Khajjiar. Khajjiar is a hill station dating from 12th century,

Khajji Nag Temple is dedicated to a serpent God. Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by cedar forest. Khajjiar is known for its meadows and dense green forests as well as its temples.

On July 7, the then Vice Chancellor and Head of the Chancery of Switzerland in India, Willy Blazer, called Khajjiar the “MINI-SWITZERLAND”. The comparison came into his mind due to the striking topographical resemblance of the place with Switzerland. Overnight stay here.

Day 4 : Khajjiar – Amritsar (212.8 km)

Check out from the hotel and leave for Amritsar. Amritsar is a city in the northwestern India state of Punjab, 28 km from the border of Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is the holiest gurudwara (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. Its at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (Lake), where pilgrims bathe. Amritsar is the second largest city in Punjab, after Ludhiana. It is a major cultural, transportation and economic centre, located in the Majha region of Punjab.

The city is also known for Amritsari food, its wooden chessboards and chess pieces manufacturing industry.
